POLYGRAMA PHOTOPOLYMERS
We specialize in
manufacturing photopolymers for holography. Over the past ten years
much research has been carried out to develop more efficient
photopolymers. In order to respond to the industry's growing demand for
applications like LCD displays, HOEs, data storage etc., much emphasis
has been put on methods to increase sensitivity.
Designing highly light-sensitive systems that polymerize at an ever faster rate have become a growing challenge. The discovery of new photosensitive mechanisms in addition to novel monomer formulas have led to new materials hitherto unseen in that area. These promising new photopolymers are likely to overcome most of the shortcomings usually associated with holographic recording materials. DAROL FILM POLYGRAMA DAROL PHOTOPOLYMER is a dry ("dry"means that coating on the substrate forms a solid layer) film for holography which is provided in with adequate resolution, high contrast and low scatter. It is designed for use with BLUE-GREEN lasers (488 to 535 nm) and RED ones (610 to 660 nm). It is a low cost material designed for substitute the traditional Dichromated gelatine process (DCG). It works as recording a latent (visible) reflection hologram that is further thermal developed in a single process to deliver an artificial “DCG” reflection hologram with indeed very similar properties. The perfect choice for mass production security copies at high quality, with same brilliance as one DCG hologram and totally moisture resistant and stable. The SM Photopolymer by Polygrama represent a positive step in holography, with a simple system in easy steps:
DAROL, liquid photopolymers and related developing process are World-Wide (WIPO) Patent Pending. ![]() |
