In order to respond to the industry's growing demand for applications like LCD displays, HOEs, data storage etc., much emphasis has been put on methods to increase sensitivity.

Designing highly light-sensitive systems that polymerize at an ever faster rate have become a growing challenge. The discovery of new photosensitive mechanisms in addition to novel monomer formulas have led to new materials hitherto unseen in that area. These promising new photopolymers are likely to overcome most of the shortcomings usually associated with holographic recording materials.

POLYGRAMA presents an experimental liquid type photopolymer is used forming a sandwich structure, is designed to emulate the void formation on"DCG" - dichromated gelatin type with an inert molecular structure.

The new DSM Photopolymer by Polygrama represent a positive step in holography, with a simple system in easy steps:

• "Sandwich"the liquid between glass or plastic substrate
• Expose to laser to form a transmission hologram
• Fix with  UV light
• Remove the glass/plastic cover
• Let dry 12hours until voids appear, the hologram greatly will increase the DE.
